Scholarship
The Tucson (AZ) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has served the Tucson Community for more than fifty-six years. We are committed to leading the way to ensure our youth are academically successful. We have provided financial support and mentoring to deserving students pursuing degrees at institutes of higher learning. The program is funded by our Helen Washington Memorial Scholarship Fund and supported by our chapter fundraisers as well as donations from our corporate and educational partners and our chapter members. The Links Scholarship awards vary from year to year and award amounts are contingent upon the funding for the current year.
Criteria (Details listed in application)
- African American or of African American descent:
- High School Senior
- College Freshman
- College Sophomore
- College Junior
- College Senior
- Graduate Student
- Applicant must enroll as a full-time student at an accredited 2 year or 4-year college or university in the fall of 2024
- Minimum GPA – 3.0 or Higher on a 4.0-point scale
